Our Family, Our Story 

The Davis Family Reunion is all about love, laughter, and staying connected to the roots that made us who we are. Our story begins in Jemison, Alabama, where our family tree first took root, and where the spirit of togetherness was born.

We proudly carry the legacy of our ancestors—Alberta Singleterry, Consue Robinson, Curtis Reed, Maude Arrington, Warrine Sailes, and Willie Cobb—whose strength, love, and values continue to guide us today.

Since that very first reunion in Jemison, we’ve kept the tradition alive by coming together in cities across the country to celebrate our bond. We’ve shared hugs and stories in:

• 1999 – Detroit, Michigan
• 2001 – Atlanta, Georgia
• 2018 – Cleveland, Ohio
• 2019 – Indianapolis, Indiana
• 2023 – Memphis, Tennessee (Family Gathering)
• 2024 – Charlotte, North Carolina

Each time we gather, it feels like coming home. Whether we’re dancing, laughing, honoring our elders, or watching the next generation play and grow, it’s always a reminder that we are stronger together.
